Question about Adwords google?
I had an onsite-PC Repair biz last year and I advertised on adwords google spent a LOT of money with only clicks no conversion. I want to start a new business related to PC repair. What do you guys will suggest? Local newspaper ad? adwords again with a better website? I can't afford yellow pages too expensive. Thanks for your suggestions.

Just make sure you target your locality. In a repair business, you don't want people on the other side of the country coming to your site on a pay-per-click, that's a waste of your money.
Hey,
I have more than one Adwords voucher. Its says that "only one promotional code per customer". I know I cant use this again, but, if a partner of mine creates a new account (and creates an advert for a website that i am currently advertising), would that be viable?
I dont want to rip anyone off, i just want to use the vouchers that i have…problem is…..i only have one site for which to use it.
Cheers, Nclguy352

it violates the spirit of the voucher. I would not do this.
HOWEVER, it would work. Google will not check the destination URLs against other advertisers as far as I know.

Hi … I have asked several times about this but I keep getting the wrong answers.. and thats why I am wrighting a new question instead of keeping those threads going because I did not ask the question properly before…
I hardly have any money right now to be spending on my daily budget on google adwords… I spend about 12 cents to 60 cents (rarely 60 cents) on my keywords and if anyone has any suggestions on how much I should spend for a daily budget to expect a profit in return please help .. and I know that it can very but I just need a bit of an idea on it from somone who knows what they are talking about..
oh and please don't tell me anything about SEO because this is for an affiliate program and not my own website .. thank you.

Hi,
Using the Google direct linking method does not work as well as it used to as Google has got a lot more expensive.
You can still make money using this method but as the guy recommended, rather bid on brand names as they are higher converting.
I wouldnt waste your time on Ad Words till you have some kind of budget as testing multiple products cost money and i would say you would need atleast 500 clicks to get any meaningful data out of your campaign.
There is tons of free information online in SEO and Ad Words forums, do some research and take it slow if you are new.

Hi
No you won't. Becareful as google band many advertisers last yesr for this reason. Google really hate cheating and i don't think £50 is worth it.
Take care
I recently placed an ad through Google's Adwords. So far, I am not impressed. Maybe I am not investing enough money per day, or perhaps I am on the wrong site. Any good ideas about how to utilize Adwords to the fullest?

Also look at:
1) when your ads show
2) what sites your ads show on
3) what geography your ads show in
4) your placement
5) your competitors placement
6) negative keywords
7) broad vs phrase vs exact match
To find the answers you must test, test, test.
